Unlimited Obamacare slush fund.

Just when we thought there were no more brazen audacities left to report about in Obamacare, here comes a doozy.  

House Republicans have uncovered, tucked away in Section 1311(a) of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA), an UNLIMITED Obamacare implementation slush fund.

That's right.  Unlimited.  

An open tap on the US Treasury, this little gem -- discovered by Representative Fred Upton (R-Mich.), chairman of the House Energy & Commerce Committee -- can be used for anything the President wants to spend taxpayer money on, under the guise of "actitivites related to establishing" Obamacare health benefit exchanges.

Here's the relevant legal language from 1311(a):

(1) PLANNING AND ESTABLISHMENT GRANTS.—There shall be appropriated to the Secretary, out of any moneys in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, an amount necessary to enable the Secretary to make awards, not later than 1 year after enactment of this Act, to States in amounts specified in paragraph (2) for the uses described in paragraph (3).

(2) AMOUNT SPECIFIED.—For each fiscal year, the Secretary shall determine the total amount that the Secretary will make available to each State for grants under this subsection.

(3) USE OF FUNDS.—A State shall use amounts awarded under this subsection for activities (including planning activities) related to establishing an American Health Benefit Exchange, as described in subsection (b).

(4)(B).-- “No grant shall be awarded under this subsection after January 1, 2015.”

While this language thankfully shuts down the slush fund in 2015, it provides absolutely no limit on how much can be spent before then, and only the vaguest guidance on how it's spent. It's so vague, in fact, that any determined socialist could sail an ocean liner through it.  

And he is. 

Under Mr. Obama's approving eye, Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS), Kathleen Sebelius, is already busy using this uncapped fund to seduce states into collaborating in the implementation of Obamacare. She's issued nearly $50 million in grants to help states "plan and evaluate" how they'll set up exchanges by 2014 as the law requires them to do.

That's just the appetizer.  Dr. Donald Berwick, the chief administrator of Medicare and Medicaid, has hinted at even more ambitious plans to tap the slush fund to bail out state governments, which are currently groaning under out-of-control Medicaid spending.

The Congressional Research Service (CRS) has confirmed that the "state-based exchange grants" fund is an "indefinite appropriation," meaning it's open-ended and requires no further action by Congress to be tapped by the President. 

If he wants to, Mr. Obama could increase the cost of his health care law by not just billions, but hundreds of billions, of dollars, unilaterally.    

As you might guess, some in Congress are not sitting still for this.  

Next week, the House of Representatives will vote on a bill drafted by Mr. Upton, H.R. 1213, to shut off this particular tap and weld it shut.  

The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) estimates Chairman Upton's bill would save taxpayers about $14 billion over the next 10 years; but this is only a guess on the agency's part.  The savings could be much greater, because, as we've said, the slush fund is not subject to any controls or meaningful limits. 

Under our Constitution, only Congress has the power of the purse.  To formally delegate to the President the power to appropriate funds from the Treasury without stint or limit breaches the separation of powers in fact, if not in form.  

In short, Section 1311(a) of PPACA is a dangerous, irresponsible, and arguably unconstitutional delegation of money and power to the Executive Branch.

Regardless of one's opinions about government-run health care, surely all Americans can agree that this slush fund gives the President -- any President -- too much power.

No Matter What

Can President Obama be defeated in 2012? No. He can't. President Barak Obama will win a second term. The media won't tell you this because a good election campaign means hundreds of millions (or in Obama's case billions) of dollars to them in advertising. But the truth is, there simply are no conditions under which Barak Obama can be defeated in 2012. The quality of the Republican candidate doesn't matter.

"We have nine percent unemployment. Gas prices will be five dollars a gallon by then. The economy is going into the gutter. We are in 2 wars in the Middle East and he is starting a third contrary to his promises to get us out of there. America's role as the leading Superpower in threatened. The U.S. government rushes toward bankruptcy. The dollar continues to sink on world markets and the price of daily goods and services soars due to inflation fueled by Obama's extraordinary deficit spending. America's credit has been devalued. He has pushed legislation over the vote of the people. He has lied again and again. He has circumvented Congress with the "Special Advisers" (Czars), and has usurped powers of the Constitution. He has blamed Bush for all his faults, then is applauded for doing the same things- and worse. He has added a $4 Trillion to the national debt and a potential $13 Trillion by 2020. He has single-handedly done more damage to America than all presidents in since T. R. combined. But you say Obama will win? You're crazy. Don't you understand how volatile politics can be when overall economic, government, and world conditions are declining?"

"Sure I do." The American people are notoriously ignorant of economics. And economics is the key to why Obama should be defeated. Even when Obama's policies lead the nation to final ruin, the majority of the American people are going to believe the bait-and-switch tactics Obama and his supporters in the media will use to explain why it isn't his fault. And that's why I know Obama will win."

Obama's reelection is really very simple. Consider the following:

1) Blacks will vote for Obama blindly. Period. It doesn't matter what he does. It's a race thing. "He's one of us." (I wish I could say that there was no race issue. I wish I could say that Blacks were as color blind as they insist that the rest of us should be. (Obama has had 3 church Pastors since he was re-elected. His current Pastor defines White people as "James Crow, esq." White men in pin-stripe suits.) Democrats are the political party that nearly destroyed the union before it even started by refusing to abolish slavery when it was made illegal on federal land in 1787. Southern slave owners, slave traders, and plantation crop traders were the power behind the Democratic party.),

2) College educated women will vote for Obama. Though they will be offended by this, they swoon at his oratory. It's really not more complex than that,

3) Liberals will vote for Obama. He is their great hope,

4) Democrats will vote for Obama. He is the leader of their party and his coattails will carry them to victory nationwide. (Conservatives split into Libertarians, Conservatives, Republicans, Tea Party, etc. and often divide their votes accordingly, but although liberals divide into Democrats, Socialists, Marxists, Communists, Green Party, etc., but in the end, by and large, they pull into party line and vote Democrat. That's how Obama, who is more Marxist/Socialist, got the Democratic nomination in the first place.),

5) Hispanics will vote for Obama. Especially in places like Illinois where there are more registered voters than there are legally eligible voters. He is the path to citizenship for those who are illegal and Hispanic leaders recognize the political clout they carry in the Democratic Party,

6) Union members will vote overwhelmingly for Obama. He is their key to money and power in business, state and local politics. (Read the Communist Manefesto. You'll understand.),

7) Big Business will support Obama. They already have. He has almost $1 Billion dollars in his reelection purse gained largely from his connections with Big Business and is gaining more everyday. Big Business loves Obama because he gives them access to taxpayer money so long as they support his social and political agenda,

8) The media love him. They may attack the people who work for him, but they love him. After all, to not love him would be racist,

9) Most other minorities and special interest groups will vote for him. Oddly, the overwhelming majority of Jews and Muslims will support him because they won't vote Republican. American Indians will support him. Obviously homosexuals tend to vote Democratic,

10) Approximately half of independents will vote for Obama. And he doesn't need anywhere near that number because he has all of the groups previously mentioned. The President will win an overwhelming victory in 2012,  And lastly,

11) Domestic investors like Bill Gates and Warren Buffet, and Foreign investors like George Soros will make their billions available to the Obama machine.

After repeated warnings, and four years of fiscal disaster after ill-spending we re-elected Clinton a second time. Clinton admirably called Soviet General Secretary Boris Yeltzin "A good Democrat." If we had wanted change from Bush, as Obama and his minions claim, we would more likely have elected Hillary or another known candidate rather than a new unknown. Obama is an avowed Marxist. We elected him once. There had to be a reason. What makes you think we won't re-elect him? If you don't think money talks, and that Obama couldn't buy a re-election, you are fooling yourself.

Operation Wetback

In 1949 the Border Patrol seized nearly 280,000 illegal immigrants. By 1953, the numbers had grown to more than 865,000, and the U.S. government felt pressured to do something about the onslaught of immigration. What resulted was Operation Wetback, devised in 1954 under the supervision of new commissioner of the Immigration and Nationalization Service, Gen. Joseph Swing.

Swing oversaw the Border patrol, and organized state and local officials along with the police. The object of his intense border enforcement were "illegal aliens," but common practice of Operation Wetback focused on Mexicans in general. The police swarmed through Mexican American barrios throughout the southeastern states. Some Mexicans, fearful of the potential violence of this militarization, fled back south across the border. In 1954, the agents discovered over 1 million illegal immigrants.

In some cases, illegal immigrants were deported along with their American-born children, who were by law U.S. citizens. The agents used a wide brush in their criteria for interrogating potential aliens. They adopted the practice of stopping "Mexican-looking" citizens on the street and asking for identification. This practice incited and angered many U.S. citizens who were of Mexican American descent. Opponents in both the United States and Mexico complained of "police-state" methods, and Operation Wetback was abandoned.

The effort began in California and Arizona, and coordinated 1075 Border Patrol agents, along with state and local police agencies, to mount an aggressive crackdown. Tactics employed included going as far as systematic police sweeps of Mexican-American neighborhoods, and using racial profiling on random stops and ID checks of "Mexican-looking" people in a region with many Native Americans and native Hispanics. In some cases, illegal aliens were deported along with their American-born children.

Some 750 agents targeted agricultural areas with a goal of 1,000 apprehensions per day. By the end of July, over 50,000 illegal aliens were caught in the two states. An estimated 488,000 illegal aliens are believed to have left voluntarily, for fear of being apprehended. By September, 80,000 had been taken into custody in Texas, and the INS estimated that 500,000 to 700,000 had left Texas of their own accord. Operation Wetback was a 1954 operation by the United States Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) to remove about one million illegal aliens from the southwestern United States, focusing on Mexican nationals. Tens of thousands more were deported by two chartered ships: the Emancipation and the Mercurio. The ships ferried them from Port Isabel, Texas, to Veracruz, Mexico, more than 500 mi (800 km) to the south. Some were taken as far as 1000 mi (1600 km). Deportation by sea was ended after seven deportees jumped overboard from the Mercurio and drowned, provoking a mutiny that led to a public outcry in Mexico. Lessons Learned

One important lesson advocates have learned in the last three years --- Elections Matter! Who holds the seats of power matters. And values and ideology trump facts about pain and suffering being imposed upon people or economic havoc caused by budget cuts. Facts are all subject to interpretation by who holds power. Nonprofits can and must be engaged in electoral work.

Although nonprofit organizations are not allowed to endorse candidates, nonprofit organizations are allowed to do, and should do, voter registration, education and participation work because, as seen recently, elections are the hinge upon which swings our future. If nonprofit organizations won’t engage in electoral politics legally and ethically, the unlimited spending, borrowing, lying, wasting of the assault on health and human services, and education will continue until we have no nation left, health care is mandated, rationed like band-aids if at all, and basic education is so unaffordable that we reach third world standards in drop-outs, and the reduction in quality of primary and secondary education. We are nearing the point where college education will be issued through rationing just like the coming health care debacle.

Get engaged and stay engaged! While the possible future is still very discouraging, we must not give into these bad public policies even in these difficult times. We need to continue to be voices for human dignity and personal responsibility and community involvement. It is not the job of the government to take care of the people. It is the job of the people to take care of the people and to oversee the government.

Tell the story of the consequences of this behavior to anyone who will listen and constantly and persistently to the media, but also tell the unwanted and unsavory tale of why there are so many cuts. Tell the story of the unfettered spending, borrowing, and the sale of America to the highest bidder. If this administration were a man, he would be in prison for fraud, conspiracy, and then be committed for insanity.

Don’t let any opportunity pass without sharing the story, the story of the runaway government that is supposed to serve you, the agency impacts, the layoffs, and the pain and suffering caused by the irresponsible administration.

If the consequences are invisible, the general public will not know or understand the great disservice of these cuts to our lives. The government wants these sacrifices to be as gradual and as transparent as possible so that when we realize what has happened, it will be too late to stop them. Take a lesson from the Soviet Union. After 72 years, their failed government destroyed their society, collapsed their military through the same tactics that have been underway here for 30 years, ruined their economy, lost all international friends, and sold out their reputation as a super-power only to be left a smoldering wreck of a nation, and 30 years after the so-called collapse of their government they are not through, yet.

Be a voice of reason and good economic sense in the midst of the root cause of this abomination. Write your legislators – thank those who stood up for common sense, integrity, and personal responsibility. Hold those legislators accountable who voted for Obamacare, the stimulus, the government buy-out of big business, and all the foreign loans. Let them know your disappointment.

#11 on the Sargeant Shriver National Center on Poverty Law list of Anti-Poverty recommendations to the president-elect was the item "Legalize Immigrants" I have listened to this crap sandwich for more years than I care to count and I still have the burning question remaining: How is legalizing 12 Million people who are in this country in violation of standing law going to fix poverty? These people are deeply impoverished before they get here. They lower the national poverty level. They absorb public entitlements faster than a suction pump. They have more than tripled the burden on the welfare system. They are absorbing undeclared jobs at an alarming rate with no tax revenue coming in. The burden on the systems are massive from accommodating language, culture, medical needs to child care and crime control. Crime is a way of life in their country. They bring those issues here and we are supposed to just adapt? How is legalizing all this going to address poverty? It will have the opposite effect.

[Ed. Note: Tax contributions are a minimal concern. See my note below. Confiscating contributions would not impoverish anyone. They come here impoverished and do little to rectify the situation. There is a higher incidence of crime, school dropouts, unemployment, welfare, and a higher burden on society with illegal immigrants than with any other group. The only way they could burden state and local governments is through the huge pit of entitlement payments. They frustrate efforts to correct Social Security records because the government incorrectly insists upon issuing Social Security Credit. This undermines immigration reform because immigration has never worked and will not work now or in the future.]

Bad for the System and an Affront to Our Values -

Under current law, undocumented immigrants are ineligible for Social Security benefits. However, the majority of undocumented immigrants pay taxes — including payroll taxes — for years while they work to support our economy. Current law enables immigrants who later obtain legal status to be credited for work they in fact performed.

[Ed. Note: After preparing taxes for several years professionally, I can attest that this statement is false. I can count on both hands the number of Taxpayer ID numbers I issued. Most of those were issued to Non-Resident students who were working and studying here. Comprehensive Immigration Reform and Obama's DREAM Act are one in the same project. Amnesty. Pure and simple. Not only amnesty, but this goes farther than any amnesty bill has ever gone before. Illegal immigrants are supposed to file income taxes. The IRS doesn't check immigration status, in fact, they will issue a Taxpayer's ID number that looks just like a Social Security Number. Under this bill, there will be full forgiveness for non-compliance with tax law and no retroactive prosecution for tax evasion. It gives every illegal retroactive legal status with full Social Security credit (how would they prove that?), full permanent resident legal immigrant status, full rights to everything every non-citizen has rights to.

The conservative amendment: An amendment offered by Senator John Ensign (R-NV) to the Senate’s 2006 comprehensive immigration reform bill, and one likely to be offered again in 2007, is designed to prevent citizens and lawfully present immigrant workers from claiming Social Security based on earnings credited before they were authorized to work in the United States. This restriction would apply to any person who applies for a Social Security number (SSN) in the future, even after the person becomes a U.S. citizen, no matter how long he or she has worked in the U.S. and paid Social Security taxes into the system.

[Ed. Note: It should be noted that this comprehensive immigration reform, although in congress nearly every year in one form or another since the middle '80s didn't take off in its present strength until the liberals took congress under Pelosi and Reid in '06. Even under the Democrat controlled congress in the late '80s and early '90s it wasn't this strong.]

I know the liberals will argue every point. Fine. The only way to argue the core of the points is to agree with the parent site and all sites linked from it. Either believe the points and accept the DREAM Act, or disbelieve it for your own reasons. You are for it or against it. If you are for Comprehensive Immigration Reform, then you will have to admit you are for a progressive, even socialist program. It is that black and white.

The Meaning of Law

The general principle on which we have heretofore insisted that the meaning of a written law is to be found in its terms, and that we are not at liberty to resort the extrinsic facts and circumstances to ascertain what the framers might have intended, has frequently been declared to apply to the Constitution. Stat. & Const. Law, 2nd ed. p. 552.
In Sturges v. Crowninshield, Chief Justice Thurgood Marshall said: "It is well settled that the spirit of a Constitution is to be respected no less than its letter; yet that spirit is to be collected from its words, and neither the practice of legislative bodies, nor other extrinsic circunstances, can control its clear language. 4 Wheat. 202. 203, 4 L. ed.550.
In Newell v. People 7 N.Y. 9. Courts, in the interpretation of Constitutions, have little to do with the argument ab inconvenienti, and should not "bend the Constitution to suit the law of the hour." That inconvenience may and will arise from an adherence to the Constitution may be conceded; but this affords no reason for construing away its provisions. It is not for the courts or the legislators to supply these defects. This is for the people who made that instrument.
My rule has ever been to follow the fundamental law as it is written, regardless of consequences. If the law does not work well, the people can amend it, and inconveniences can be borne long enough to wait that process. But if the legislature, or the courts, undertake to cure defects by forced and unnatural constructions, they inflict a wound upon the Constitution which nothing can heal. One step taken by the legislature or the judiciary in enlarging the powers of the government opens the door for another, which will be sure to follow; and so the process goes on until all respect for the fundamental law is lost, and the powers of the government are just what those in authority please to call them.

Makes one go "Hmmm."

George Bush spent $700B to bail out the mortgage industry. Obama said that he would not continue "the same pattern of irresponsible spending" and bailouts.
He then turned right around and spent $555M on Social Security bailout, $800B on the banking and auto industry bailouts; now, he approves an additional  $787B for more bailouts (what industry is he going to take over with that?) He said he would set into motion actions to balance the budget.
Now, there is forecast to have a $9T debt by 2019.
Not only that, the deficit will be 75%, in size, of the entire national annual budget!
When the Republicans were in power during the mid '60s the Democrats were running ads that the Republicans weren't doing anything about health care. Admittedly, there were improvements they could have made, it was the Democrats who grossly restricted the private Medical Savings Accounts. One had to be enrolled in a High Deductible Health Plan in order to use them. The Archer Medical Savings Accounts (MSA), the Health Saving Accounts (HSA), the Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA) replaced the old Medical Savings Account as per the Medicare Prescription Drug, Improvement, and Modernization Act signed by Pres. Bush in Dec '03. If the MSAs, HSAs, HRAs and the Archers were available to be taxed only on the interest, and without the High Deductible Health Plan then there would be no need for 'ObamaCare' or any kind of Socialized/Socialist Health Care. The biggest difference is that with a proper, personal MSA there would be no government mandated limit on account contributions.


In 1987 President Ronald Reagan vetoed a transportation bill that contained 152 earmarks (political pork projects) saying “I haven't seen this much lard since I handed out blue ribbons at the Iowa State Fair.”  This president, Mr. Bush, is different.  August 10, 2005 President Bush signed a transportation bill that contained 6,371 earmarks.  6,371 pieces of political pork costing more than $24 billion.   In contrast to President Reagans comment, President Bush, at a short bill-signing event at a Caterpillar plant in Illinois made this comment:  "I'm proud to be here to sign this transportation bill, because our economy depends on us having the most efficient, reliable transportation system in the world." What an astonishing difference between these two men.  Reagan was appalled at 152 pieces of pork and Bush was “proud” to approve 6,371.


Why did Obama, et. al. find SB1070 so offensive? Because it goes against their immigration reform proposals.
During the late 1890s there were serious debates going on concerning the descendents of former slaves, and how they were to be treated as citizens. The 14th amendment was passed. The citizenship criteria are: 1) Born or naturalized in the United States and 2) Subject to the jurisdiction thereof.
“All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside.” - 14th Amendment to the United States Constitution.
According to United States Supreme Court decision United States v. Wong Kim Ark (1898) the person born must meet the “subject to the jurisdiction thereof” clause in order to be considered a citizen.
This does not mean police jurisdiction. This is permanent, willful jurisdiction.
What this means is that if a woman from any other country, who is not a citizen of the United States, delivers her baby in the United States, that woman and her child are subject to the jurisdiction of the country of which she holds citizenship.
A baby being born in the United States does not give that baby United States Citizenship.
What this means is short and simple. In the immigration battle over the southern border, the women who are here illegally who drop their children here, there are no anchor babies.


Obama said his father served in WWII. His father, Barack Obama Sr was born in 1933. He would have been 11 years old when the war ended. Lolo Soetoro, his step-father was born in 1932. He would have been 12 when the war ended.


New York Attorney General Andrew Cuomo revealed that American International Group Inc. (AIG) gave bonuses of $1 million or more to 73 people in its Financial Products subsidiary, the unit largely responsible for the company's meltdown.

Rocket launchers were found in Lasiid, near Karbala. A weapons cache was found in a children's cemetery, and another in an elementary school. This after White House press release claiming there were no insurgent clandestine operations in the Karbala region.

This came to me via email. I don't know where it originated. I ran some wording through Google and found the articles from which they came. This is obviously a chop and paste made to look like an original article. Normally, I hate it when people send this sort of crap trying to look like an original thought. I have people who send emails on without checking them, which galls me no end. This email, however, is real, at least in its parts. One should make use of the links to read the full articles. Credit is given where known as it is due for, as I said, this is not an original thought.

One of the most poorly kept secrets in Washington is President Obama's animosity toward Great Britain, presumably because of what he regards as its sins while ruling Kenya (1895-1963). [Ed Note: Britain is as close to a socialist government as one can get and still be a Parliamentary Monarchy. Obama loves Britain's socialized entitlements. Why he hates our closest ally is hard to say. I can only imagine what he would do if Mr. Churchill was still alive.]

One of Barack Hussein Obama's first acts as president was to return to Britain a bust of Winston Churchill that had graced the Oval Office since 9/11.  He followed this up by denying Prime Minister Gordon Brown, on his first state visit, the usual joint press conference with flags.

The president was "too tired" to grant the leader of America's closest ally a proper welcome, his aides told British journalists.

Mr. Obama followed this up with cheesy gifts for Mr. Brown and the Queen. Columnist Ian Martin described his behavior as "rudeness personified." There was more rudeness in store for Mr. Brown at the opening session of the United Nations in September.  "The prime minister was forced to dash through the kitchens of the UN in New York to secure five minutes of face time with President Obama after five requests for a sit down meeting were rejected by the White House," said London Telegraph columnist David Hughes.  Mr. Obama's "churlishness is unforgivable," Mr. Hughes said.

The administration went beyond snubs and slights last week when Secretary of State Hillary Clinton endorsed the demand of Argentine President Cristina Kirchner, a Hugo Chavez ally, for mediation of Argentina 's specious claim to the Falkland Islands, a British dependency since 1833. The people who live in the Falklands, who speak English, want nothing to do with Argentina .  When, in 1982, an earlier Argentine dictatorship tried to seize the Falklands by force, the British  with strong support from President Ronald Reagan  expelled them.

"I recently asked several senior administration officials, separately, to name a foreign leader with whom Barack Obama has forged a strong personal relationship during his first year in office," wrote Jackson Diehl, deputy editorial page editor of the Washington Post, on Monday. " A lot of hemming and hawing ensued." 

One official named French President Nicolas Sarkozy, but his contempt for Mr. Obama is an open secret. Another named German Chancellor Angela Merkel. But, said Mr. Diehl, "Merkel too has been conspicuously cool toward Obama."

Mr. Obama certainly doesn't care about the Poles and Czechs, whom he has betrayed on missile defense.  Honduras and Israel also can attest that he's been an unreliable ally and an unfaithful friend.  Ironically, our relations with both  Israel and the Palestinian Authority have never been worse.  Russia has offered nothing in exchange for Mr. Obama's abandonment of missile defense.  Russia and China won't support serious sanctions on Iran.  Syria's support for terrorism has not diminished despite efforts to normalize diplomatic relations.  The reclusive military dictatorship that runs Burma has responded to our efforts at "engagement" by deepening its ties to North Korea.

And the Chinese make little effort to disguise their contempt for him.

For the first time in a long time, the President of the United States is actually distrusted by its allies and not in the least feared by its adversaries.  Nor is Mr. Obama now respected by the majority of Americans. Understandably focused on the dismal economy and Mr. Obama's relentless efforts to nationalize and socialize health care, Americans apparently have yet to notice his dismal performance and lack of respect in the world community.

A word of commentary

Many of my posts list organizations with warm-fluffy, touchy-feely names. Names like Alliance for Democracy, Coalition for Peace Action, Coalition on Human Needs, Friends of the Earth, Friends of the Poor, Gathering for Justice, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. DC Support Group, Fellowship of Reconciliation, Human Rights Campaign, Black Leadership Forum, Inc., Black Women’s Roundtable, Black Youth Vote, National Coalition on Black Civic Participation, National Community Reinvestment Coalition, National Congress of Black Women, National Council of La Raza, National Council of Negro Women, National Domestic Workers Alliance and so many others. What could be so bad, so damaging about those names?

It is not necessary to take each group at a time. I have a post on my blog called "One Nation Working Together?"[http://davjohn.blogspot.com/2011/04/one-nation-working-together.html]. That post describes a counter-rally to the Restoring Honor Rally that was held in Washington on August 28, 2010. The rally was peaceful and clean. The rally was also attended by a group of priests, ministers, rabbis, and imams that has come to be known as "The Black Robe Regiment," and many people of all political parties who felt that it was time to clean up Washington. The mall held more than 100,000 people and more than 400 buses, and the normal compliment of Park Service workers had it cleaned up that night.

On the same day, Al Sharpton held a counter-rally opposing Restoring Honor. That rally, supported by President Obama, was loud, dirty, messy, noisy, and a sham just like its sponsor. That rally held an estimated 80,000 people and it took 3 days for the Park Service to clean up the mess.

On 10/30/2010 John Stewart held a “Restore Sanity Rally” that has also been endorsed by Barack Obama. Actually, it was not held to restore sanity, but to reintroduce chaos. The unions & every other America-hating, left-wing organization in the country supported the rally.

Then there was the infamous “One Nation Rally” on October 2^nd. The interesting thing about this rally is not that Barack Obama had endorsed this rally- that was no surprise to anyone, but that more than 400 organizations, representing tens of thousands of individuals who have endorsed the One Nation Working Together campaign. The list of organizations supporting this rally was found linked off of the Communist Party USA website. (That site has changed by now, but most of the list is also in my blog under a post called “On Your Hands” and can be found here: http://davjohn.blogspot.com/2011/04/on-your-hands.html). Like the Sharpton counter-rally union members are being bused, paid, and forced to attend this rally by the bus load. Unions were ordering members to attend this and the Sharpton rallies, and were awarded with regular pay and the day off to attend. Now you know where your high prices go, and why companies move overseas to avoid this type of corruption.

Every one of these groups have openly supported a platform of Socialism. These groups have proven that just because something or someone uses a kind and gentle sounding name doesn't mean they won't harm you. There are a lot of organizations using the term "Democracy" and we've been brought up to believe the US is a Democracy. Is calling a tiger a kitty make it any less dangerous? Don't forget, the one thing all the Founding Fathers universally agreed on was that they would rather stay under a King George Monarchy than have a Democracy, because a Democracy as a government is nothing short of a shape-shifting form of mob-rule. It is the most insidious form of tyranny known to man.

Look at the damage it has done. Democracy brought us- as a nation -90 years of the most indecent slavery known to modern man. And the very people who should understand the slavery their ancestors suffered are the very people shouting the loudest for Democracy. In 1865 the walls of slavery were torn down. Former slaves were given their freedom. Many had a terrible time, but attitudes were changing and hundreds were making going concerns of their own businesses until 1912. In 1912 our democratic process elected a president who wanted to, and did, re-segregate government. As goes government, so goes business. Businesses, cities, towns, counties all over the country were openly violating the civil rights of the descendents of former slaves. People of color were given their freedom and an opportunity for greatness, and Democracy took it away. 52 years later they should have learned their lesson. All they had to do was to recognize the mistakes of the past, step up, and take their place in society. But No! Not when they could be sucking off the entitlement teat of the government. As long as people like FDR and LBJ would pass bills like social entitlements and Jimmy Carter would put them in homes they couldn't afford while other people paid for them, why not take the free ride.

Here we are, 146 years later, the same people who gave their lives, their families, and their posterity in efforts to gain their freedom and their equality are now convinced that segregation is, at least in part, the preferable system under which to live. Go to that list and count the number of organizations that are identified by race or color. Then tell me that the members of those organizations desire equality and freedom. You can't. Every pity-poor-feel-sorry-for-me wants the entitlements. And what's the best, easiest, and most efficient way to get it? Bring down the US government and replace it with Socialism. Never mind that it has been tried many times, and never succeeded. Always leaving the country in a much worse state than it was when Socialism started. But what do they care? They'll all be dead when the roof caves in.

Not only that, but the those organizations are using the name “Democracy”, or “Democratic”, as a substitute for Socialist. “That’s socialism. That’s our vision. We are the Communist Party USA.” - CPUSA Website. There are several terms in use today that are being used interchangeably. This is the most common way for a people to redefine terms, words, or phrases. The Untied States was formed as a Republic. A Constitutional Republic, or sometimes known as a Representative Republic. By the time Andrew Jackson was president people were interchangeably referring to the US as a Republic and a Democracy. By the time T. Roosevelt became president every school child in the country knew the US Constitution inside and out, but few, if any were taught what it meant, and they rarely heard the US referred to as a Republic except when reciting the Pledge of Allegience. By the time Jimmy Carter became President it was not unusual to hear that the US was adopting the Socialist agenda. Bill Clinton once said that Soviet Premier Boris Yeltzin was a “good Democrat” comparing Democrats and Socialists on equal terms. In 2008 Newsweek ran a cover story with the caption “We're All Socialists, Now.” in response to Obama's win. Obama is an admitted Marxist admirer, and is, at least in practice, a militant Marxist/Socialist president.

No. The fluffy, touchy-feely, warm and fuzzy names don't fit the organization. The cute name belies an tiger-teeth agenda that would rip the throat out of any Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, or Dolly Madison. We have let the cat out of the bag and it is clawing its way through everything and every one in its way, and we have a president and an administration that thinks it is cute to prod an angry feline with their cattle tazers.

On Your Hands

I wish I remember who wrote this. I'd like to give him credit.

What follows is a reposting of a mailing I sent to my private email list on June 24, 2006. I don’t feel a need to explain myself, but I wrote this right after someone sent me pictures of the mutilated bodies of two young American Soldiers. Since the original posting, this letter has made a few laps around the net and been posted in many different places. Other than to my private email list, I originally posted it at Free Republic and it’s been posted there several more times and to a Geocities Website that I once maintained. I can’t even tell you where else because, except for a few Freepers, no one ever asked me if they could repost it. Copyright notices have little impact these days. I’ve even received inquiries from people that heard it read on radio programs. There’s been some minor editing of my original post as it’s traveled around and I’ve seen it renamed several times, “No Punches Pulled Here”,“Axis of Idiots”, “Insight of a Sergeant Major”, etc., etc. frankly I prefer my title because my title is my point.

It’s been pointed out to me in some “fan” mail that I didn’t mention President Reagan’s lack of response following the bombing of the Marine Barracks in Beirut, 1983. If Ronald Reagan spent his life before, during and after that bombing blaming the United States, belittling American Soldiers and the Administrations that followed his, I would most certainly have had some unkind words to say about him. You see, I’m sort of one dimensional when it comes to the treatment of my country and most particularly when politicians and others disparage the men and women with which I spent half my existence on this planet. I can’t do much in my old, decrepit state to help them with their current mission, but you can bet your butt that I’ll take every opportunity to speak out for them back here where – because of them - we sit safe, fat and happy. They need us to protect their six and confront enemies here at home while they confront our enemies around the world.

It was also pointed out to me that it was the first President Bush that got us into Somalia. That statement is true for as far as it goes. President Bush sent U.S. Forces to Somalia on a humanitarian aid mission. Their purpose was to ensure food and other supplies sent there to aid starving Somalis got to them and not the warlords. It was a President Clinton mission for Army Rangers and Special Operations Soldiers to capture Adid. President Clinton’s Secretary of Defense, Les Aspen, refused these units the Armor support they requested. Support that would have easily broken and extricated them from the ambush where 18 of them died.

Jimmy Carter, you’re the father of the Islamic Nazi movement. You threw the Shah under the bus, welcomed the Ayatollah home and then lacked the spine to confront the terrorists when they took our embassy and our people hostage. You’re the runner-in-chief.

Bill Clinton, you played ring around the Lewinsky while the terrorists were at war with us. You got us into a fight with them in Somalia, and then you ran from it. Your weak-willed responses emboldened the killers. Each time you failed to respond adequately they grew bolder, until 9/11.

John Kerry, dishonesty is your most prominent attribute. You lied about American Soldiers in Vietnam. Your military service, like your life, is more fiction than fact. You’ve accused our Soldiers of terrorizing women and children in Iraq. You called Iraq the wrong war, wrong place, wrong time, the same words you used to describe Vietnam. You’re a fake. You want to run from Iraq and abandon the Iraqis to murderers just as you did the Vietnamese. Iraq, like Vietnam is another war that you were for, before you were against it.

John Murtha, you said our military was broken. You said we can’t win militarily in Iraq. You accused United States Marines of cold-blooded murder without proof. And said we should redeploy to Okinawa. Okinawa John? And the Democrats call you their military expert. Are you sure you didn’t suffer a traumatic brain injury while you were off building your war hero resume? You’re a sad, pitiable, corrupt and washed up politician. You’re not a Marine sir. You wouldn’t amount to a pimple on a real Marines butt. You’re a phony and a disgrace. Run away John.

Dick Durbin, you accused our Soldiers at Guantanimo of being Nazis, tenders of Soviet style gulags and as bad as the regime of Pol Pot who murdered two million of his own people after your party abandoned South East Asia to the Communists. Now you want to abandon the Iraqis to the same fate. History was not a good teacher for you, was it? See Dick run.

Ted Kennedy, for days on end you held poster sized pictures from Abu Grhaib in front of any available television camera. Al Jazeera quoted you saying that Iraq’s torture chambers were open under new management. Did you see the news this week Teddy? The Islamic Nazis demonstrated real torture for you again. If you truly supported our troops, you’d show the world poster-sized pictures of that atrocity and demand the annihilation of the perpetrators of it. Your legislation stripping support from the South Vietnamese led to a communist victory there. You’re a bloated fool bent on repeating the same historical blunder that turned freedom-seeking people over to homicidal, genocidal maniacs. To paraphrase John Murtha, all while sitting on your wide, gin-soaked rear-end in Washington.

Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Carl Levine, Barbara Boxer, Diane Feinstein, Russ Feingold, Hillary Clinton, Pat Leahy, Chuck Schumer, Barack Obama, et. al., ad nauseam. Every time you stand in front of television cameras and broadcast to the Islamic Nazis that we went to war because our President lied. That the war is wrong and our Soldiers are torturers. That we should leave Iraq, you give the Islamic butchers – the same ones that tortured and mutilated American Soldiers - cause to think that we’ll run away again and all they have to do is hang on a little longer.

American news media, the New York Times particularly. Each time you publish stories about national defense secrets and our intelligence gathering methods, you become one with the sub-human pieces of camel dung that torture and mutilate the bodies of American Soldiers. You can’t strike up the courage to publish cartoons, but you can help Al Qaeda destroy my country. Actually, you are more dangerous to us than Al Qaeda is. Think about that each time you face Mecca to admire your Pulitzer.

You are America’s axis of idiots. Your Collective Stupidity will destroy us. Self-serving politics and terrorist abetting news scoops are more important to you than our national security or the lives of innocent civilians and Soldiers. It bothers you that defending ourselves gets in the way of your elitist sport of politics and your ignorant editorializing. There is as much blood on your hands as is on the hands of murdering terrorists. Don’t ever doubt that. Your frolics will only serve to extend this war as they extended Vietnam. If you want our Soldiers home, as you claim, knock off the crap and try supporting your country ahead of supporting your silly political aims and aiding our enemies. Yes, I’m questioning your patriotism. Your loyalty ends with self. I’m also questioning why you’re stealing air that decent Americans could be breathing. You don’t deserve the protection of our men and women in uniform. You need to run away from this war – this country. Leave the war to the people who have the will to see it through and the country to people who are willing to defend it.

No, Commander in Chief, you don’t get off the hook either. Our country has two enemies. Those who want to destroy us from the outside and those who attempt it from within. Your Soldiers are dealing with the outside force. It’s your obligation to support them by confronting the axis of idiots. America must hear it from you that these people are harming our country, abetting the enemy and endangering our safety. Well up a little anger please, and channel it toward the appropriate target. You must prosecute those who leak national security secrets to the media. You must prosecute those in the media who knowingly publish those secrets. Our Soldiers need you to confront the enemy that they cannot.

They need you to do it now.

That was in 2006. It is now 2010. The changes that have been promised under this new administration have shaken the American Republic to its very core.
