Splitting the GOP right when we need unity.

The GOP is splitting its personality 2 for 1. That may be ok odds on a racehorse, but the nation is at stake. Another 4 years of this there will not be an America to recover. We will be like Germany. They went through WWI, the Weimar Republic phase, Fascism, National Socialism (This is the phase we are in now. Actually, it's a cross betwee National Socialism and a Weimar Republic), into the Third Reich, and straight into the ground. When they surrendered they had some military officers, but not one person who could be elected to take over the reins of government, military or civilian.

This is the very thing I said when the Tea Party first started forming. There is the Tea Party, the Tea Party Express, the Constitution Party, the GOP, the New GOP, etc., ad-nauseum. The Democrats are laughing up their sleeves at us right in front of our faces. They don't care about division because they know that no matter who among the Dems wins, their socialist agenda will eventually win out. It's just a matter of time. The conservatives, on the other hand, well they are fighting like a bunch of roosters on one hen. It's not enough to be conservative unless it's done right. And they all seem to have an opinion on how to do it right. We're not alone in this. The founding fathers had the same issues. No one could agree on anything. Read the Federalist Papers and the Anti-Federalist Papers. Much was in agreement, just the approach and application, for the most part. But there were some very real fundamental differences. That doesn't mean we can't get the job done.

REMEMBER 1992!!! Ross Perot took 21.6% of the vote. Clinton won by just under 6.4%. Perot knew beyond all doubt that he couldn't win. All he had to do was to push the conservative agenda and Bush would have won. The vast majority of the money that he and Reagan had saved would have nearly paid the national debt. Clinton spent all that and sold $800B in bonds to the Chinese. That's how his shell game made the economy look so good.

So go ahead. Split the GOP. Divide your own house and see if it doesn't fall.

While you're thinking, Obama has launched his bid for re-election, and has set a record-breaking goal of $1Billion. There is not so much as a peep out of any serious contender to oppose him. Let's see if we can sleep on that.
